  Thallus pale olive-green, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata inconspicuous, immersed, visible only as thin dark brown or black lines, sometimes becoming conspicuous as black immersed lirellae, intricately curved and sinuous, sometimes branched, 1–3 mm long, 0.05–0.10 mm wide; lips closed or slightly open. Proper exciple immersed, pale orange-brown, weakly apically carbonised. Hymenium 100–125 µm thick. Ascospores irregularly uniseriate, narrowly ellipsoidal, 4-locular, 18–22 × 10–14 µm, I– or I+ pale blue.
CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected.
     
  An inconspicuous, endemic, corticolous taxon; known only from Vic.
